The More You Know, The Less You Owe

Emergency Room? Urgent Care? Primary Doctor?

Know Before You Go

When you don’t feel well, it’s best to call your primary care doctor. But, what if it’s 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night, and there’s no way you’re getting an appointment? It’s easy to make a quick decision and head straight to an emergency room. But that could mean big bills later on.

Now, more importantly, if you are experiencing an emergency such as chest, arm or jaw pain, loss of consciousness, trouble breathing, unable to speak, see, walk or move, etc., then get to the emergency room right away, or call 911. But, if you are questioning whether you need immediate care, give your time and your wallet a break and consider the other options available to you.

If you’re experiencing symptoms causing you some minor discomfort, such as a runny nose, upset stomach, or a sore throat, utilize our telemedicine provider to receive care quickly and conveniently in the comfort of your own home.

But if you’re experiencing something more serious, the decision can get more complicated, which is why we’re here to help.

To help you get the most out of your health plan, here are some guides that’ll help you find out where you need to go for what kind of condition, and how you could save some serious cash along the way.
